Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Weekly Mowing

Sharp blades, clean stripes, edges every visit, and the walks blown clean before we pull the truck off the curb.

Weekly or bi-weekly mowing on a fixed day so you know when to expect us. Blades sharpened twice a month so St. Augustine and Bermuda get a clean cut, not a tear. Cut height changes with the season — taller in July to keep moisture in, shorter heading into the first cool snap. Edged every visit. Walks, drives, and patio blown clean before we leave.

  • Tree & Shrub Trimming

Live oak, cedar elm, crape myrtle, and the everyday hedges — pruned at the right time of year, not when the schedule says.

Hand-pruned shape work on shrubs and small trees, and proper structural cuts on younger live oaks and crape myrtles (no crape murder). We time oak work for the off-season to avoid oak wilt and we paint every cut. Anything taller than the second-story roofline we sub to a TDA-licensed climber and project-manage from there.

  • Garden Mulching

Hardwood, cedar, or dyed black — installed at the depth that suppresses weeds and holds water through Texas summer.

Bulk-delivered or bagged, your call. We pull last year’s clumped mulch off first if it needs it, then hand-spread a consistent 2-3" around plants and trees with a clean edge against the lawn. No piles against trunks, no thin patches at the back of the bed.

  • Fertilization

A fertilizer program tuned for Pflugerville soil — calibrated, not "scoop and pray," with seasonal timing built in.

Slow-release nitrogen in the spring, iron supplement when the heat hits, balanced winterizer in late October. We pull a soil sample on the first visit so we know what your yard actually needs (clay-heavy in this part of the metro — a lot of yards are starving for iron, not nitrogen).

  • Weed Control

Pre-emergent on the right weeks of the year so the summer crabgrass and the winter rye don’t even start.

Two pre-emergent applications a year (February and September are the windows that matter in Central Texas) plus targeted spot treatment for the broadleaf that gets through. Hand-pulling in the beds — we don’t spray near edibles or pets unless you ask.

  • Core Aeration

Pulled cores, not spike rolling. Once a year your yard breathes again and the water stops sheeting off.

A tow-behind core aerator that pulls actual plugs every 4-6 inches. Best done in early spring for warm-season turf. We follow up with a top-dress and an overseed if you want it. Compaction in this clay is real — most lawns we walk in Pflugerville have never been aerated, and you can feel the difference within three weeks.

  • Top Dressing

A thin layer of compost over the lawn after aeration — the single best thing you can do for tired turf.

Quarter-inch screened compost dragged into the aeration holes. Feeds the microbes, levels the lawn, and over a couple of seasons the soil structure visibly improves. Pairs with the aeration service — they’re cheaper booked together.

  • Leaf Cleanup

Pecan, live oak, cedar elm — the leaf drop in this metro is real. We clear lawn, beds, and the gutters from the ground.

Backpack blower through the lawn and beds, raking around the foundations, hauled off-site so you’re not the one driving bags to the dump. Two visits is usually enough — late November and again in January after the live oaks finish dropping.

Starts at $85 · per visit

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
